MONARCH, Inc. established in 1984, provides a drug and alcohol free living environment, which enables our consumers to honestly explore, and re-evaluate behaviors that have not been successful in producing a socially responsible lifestyle.

Statement of Philosophy

Chemical dependency is a primary, progressive disease resulting from extensive abuse of drugs to the exclusion of learning effective coping skills. Dependant behaviors the keynote indicator of this disease, which is related to the extensive abuse of chemicals. Abuse and dependency is recognizable in the progression of the disease. Monarchz provides a holistic (whole person) treatment approach which entails a broad spectrum of direct and supportive services to enhance the life skills of clients, intervention, education, auxiliary service, referrals, AA, NA, and Al-Anon linkage and support groups in all components of the agency.

Chemical dependency is highly treatable when the dynamics are clearly understood. Abstinence cannot be single goals; the development of facilitative skills and ego strengths is crucial; is also essential that although the dependence is not unique, each chemically dependent person is a unique individual.

Clients exhibiting mental health issues will be referred for evaluation. When appropriate, MONARCH will coordinate treatment with a mental health program.
